Scout Program

Hey Jeff,

Thank you for considering me for this project. I’d love to help you with design & no-code development of the landing page for the Scout Program platform, and eventually - the platform itself.

On this page, you'll find some of my general thoughts on the aesthetic, early moodboard exploration, and my proposal for timeline and cost.

Thoughts on the stylistic direction

  • Dark mode - I think we’re going to get a really good immersive feel with dark mode.

  • Taking inspiration from these industries: gaming, crypto, social, fantasy sports

  • I like the color used in the screenshot from your moodboard. I think that type of bold yellow/gold ties well into the championship & money aspect of the product.

  • Big, bold, strong typography. Short headers that pack a punch.

  • Illustrations that present the product itself, no generic imagery or stock illustrations. Extremely personalized assets.

  • Lots of glowing elements, aggressive patterns. I like minimal design but we need to be careful here, because we might end up with a boring page if we strip it down from its personality.

  • The stylistic challenge here is that on one side, investing feels gated and elite, but here we want to make it feel social and cinematic. I think we can blend that.

Style references

Your reference image

I like the dark navy colors, and bold yellow for the primary color. I also like these glows.

Metafy.gg

Pretty good app for gaming coaching and events. A bit too serious, I think we can go for a more gamified look.

stackedfantasy.com

Also a bit too serious, but has a more futuristic, bold look that I think we're after here.

slash.com

They do a pretty good job of blending a professional and futuristic look, I like how they use light and colors.

Discord

They have a pretty solid gamified look. Not a lot of inspiration in my opinion though.

blitz.gg

It's an app for gamers to track their performance in games. I like a lot of their details, like hover effects, animations, etc.

My proposal

Here are two ways for how we can work together.

Design-only

Design of the landing page based on the brief in the Google Doc

Responsive design for desktop & mobile

Preparing product previews to use as landing page assets

Unlimited revisions & iterations

Daily text / video updates, going over the progress

Timeline

I could start on Wednesday, Nov 19. We’d finish within 3 weeks, assuming a strong feedback loop.

Cost

The cost here is $10,000, with 50% paid up front, and the remaining 50% after the design is done and approved.

Design + Framer Development

Everything from Design-only, plus:

No-code implementation using Framer

Micro-interactions and animations to bring the page alive

Page optimization, (load time, SEO, accessibility)

Framer file handoff

Timeline

I could start on Wednesday, Nov 19. We’d finish within 4 weeks, assuming a strong feedback loop.

Cost

The cost here is $14,000, with 50% paid up front, 25% when the design is done, and the remaining 25% after the page goes live.

I'm looking forward to your thoughts, Jeff!
